COMBINED ORDER FOR DIRECT VISA WITHOUT INTERVIEW AND TRADITIONAL VISA ORDER REQUIRING INTERVIEW – CHARACTERISTICS

1/ COMBINED ORDER FOR DIRECT VISA WITHOUT INTERVIEW

  • The visa application procedure is simple, the issuance time is from 30-70 days or more.
  • The residence card is a “guest worker-vendég munkás” card (please see the previous article of Dc Handel Kft for more information about this “guest worker” concept), valid for 2 years, renewable only once for a maximum of 1 year. After that, you can reapply for a new residence right in Hungary without having to return to Vietnam.
  • Upon arrival in Hungary, work will be arranged quickly and flexibly because the registered occupations are diverse.
  • If the employee does not meet the requirements during the probationary period or violates discipline during or after the probationary period (but tries to strive to correct the error), there is still a chance that DC Handel Kft will arrange a more suitable workplace immediately without having to wait for a new work permit (because the old work permit can still be used in some cases).
  • When it is necessary to change the employer, it can only be changed within the scope of companies in the group that issue the “guest worker-vendég munkás” card. Simply put, the employee cannot transfer the documents to work at outside companies with a Hungarian registration number.
  • Each time the company changes, the card may only be issued for 1 year instead of 2 years as originally.
  • During the period of changing companies without obtaining a new work permit, employees are not allowed to work (if they are caught working without a work permit, they may be deported and the company will be severely fined).
  • Currently, changing jobs will be more difficult due to strict regulations on granting work permits.

2/ APPLYING FOR A TRADITIONAL VISA REQUIRES AN INTERVIEW

  • You need to request an interview schedule and go to the Hungarian Consulate in Vietnam for the interview. The time to decide on granting residence rights is from 30-70 days or more.
  • The residence card is a “Foglalkoztatás” card (please see the previous article of Dc Handel Kft for more information on this concept of “Foglalkoztatás”,) valid for 2 years, renewable unlimited times.
  • Only allowed to work at the registered place, the registered job. If fired during the probationary period (usually 3 months), violated discipline or the job is not suitable for the ability, then cannot apply for documents to another company, will lose Hungarian documents.
  • When the employee needs to change companies (must have a salary statement of at least 3 months), he/she can apply to change to another company with the same type of card “Employee for the employer-Foglalkoztatás” or can apply to change to a company with the type of card “Guest worker-Vendég munkás”. The conversion time is usually 30-60 days.
  • Once the card is changed to “Guest worker-Vendég munkás”, it is not possible to change to the card “Employee for the employer-Foglalkoztatás”.
  • Each time the company is changed, the card may only be issued for 1 year instead of 2 years as originally.
  • During the period of company transfer without obtaining a new work permit, the employee is not allowed to work (if working without a work permit and is caught, he/she may be deported, and the company will be severely fined).
