LABOR EXPORT TO HUNGARY - A REASONABLE CHOICE

1. Labor export trends (XKLĐ) to Hungary in 2024

In addition to traditional markets such as Japan, Taiwan, Korea, … Hungary is emerging as a potential labor export market. This is considered a new direction for Vietnamese workers who want to experience Europe – the cradle of human civilization.

In general, the income of workers will depend on many factors such as: nature of work, skills, professional qualifications, time and productivity, … Compared to other markets, the income of workers when working in Hungary is relatively stable.

2. Introducing Hungary

Hungary is a landlocked country in Central Europe, surrounded by: Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria. The capital of Hungary is Budapest, the currency of this beautiful country is the Forint.

This European country is famous for its diverse and colorful culture. Traditional festivals are considered a characteristic of Hungarian life. In addition to festivals, wine is also an indispensable part of Hungarian culture.

In recent decades, the friendly relationship between Hungary and Vietnam has been constantly developing. The two countries have been cooperating and connecting in many fields such as culture, economy, education, etc. thanks to the common values ​​of peace and mutual understanding.

3. Conditions for exporting labor to Hungary

– Age: from 18 to 55;

– Education level: from primary school and above;

– Foreign language proficiency: no specific requirements. However, workers with foreign language skills (English or Hungarian) will have an advantage in terms of job opportunities as well as income compared to other workers;

– Health: workers must be in good health, meeting the labor export standards according to the provisions of Vietnamese law. In particular, candidates must not have skin diseases, infectious diseases, or bone deformities that affect their ability to walk;

– Personal status: no criminal record, no previous convictions;

– Required documents include:

+ Passport: valid for at least 3 years;

+ ID photo: 4×6;

+ Bilingual health certificate in English – Vietnamese;

+ Criminal record certificate No. 2;

+ Declaration of voluntary work in Hungary, working within the contract period;

+ Declaration of employee background verification;

+ Regulations for Vietnamese employees managed by DC Handel Kft and sent to Hungary to work.

4. Orders for exporting labor to Hungary

As mentioned above, the income of employees will depend on many factors. But in general, the after-tax income of employees working in Hungary ranges from 14.3 – 39.5 million VND/month. Workers will be supported by the company for dormitories, and other expenses such as food, electricity, water, and transportation will be paid by the workers themselves.

Regarding welfare policies: workers will have their taxes and insurance paid by the company according to State regulations. In addition, if they are diligent and work hard, workers can receive bonuses and other benefits. Depending on the policy of each company, some companies will support a meal for workers.

General order – job code 9310, including simple industrial support jobs, working in factories (plastics, electronic components, auto – train components, …). Currently, the company is recruiting cleaning staff, cleaning Airbnb apartments, private apartments, restaurants, hotels; washing dishes in restaurants; laundry; wall painters, house painters; collecting eggs and taking care of poultry, etc.

Note: candidates with foreign language skills, especially English, will have a certain advantage for orders such as: serving in restaurants, hotels, etc.

5. Contract duration and visa processing method for exporting labor to Hungary

Usually, the labor contract when exporting labor to Hungary will last for 2 years and can be extended when the contract expires (workers can only extend it once for a maximum of one year). After a maximum of 3 years of work, if the worker still wishes to continue working in Hungary, he/she can go through the Outsourcing company to re-apply for a new residence permit in Hungary.
